Dear Fellow Dancers,As we have been doing since we started dancing last November, we will have hand sanitizers around the hall, we will make sure there is sufficient ventilation, and ask that you take a lateral flow test prior to attending. We do hope you will feel able to join us this Wednesday, and into the future. With best wishes, The GFD committee
Gittisham Folk Dance Club meets weekly in a small East Devon village about 4 miles from Honiton. It’s a very active club with a great bunch of friendly dancers and makes a point of welcoming new attendees. It almost always features live music from a good variety of local bands and callers. All our Wednesday night dances are now held in Gittisham at their Village Hall.
Those new to dancing are particularly welcome. Perhaps come along a bit earlier than 8 pm, when we will do our best to teach beginners some of the basic moves for the 30 minutes or so prior to the dance proper.
So, if you are experienced, just beginning or re-discovering folk dancing – come along on any night, you are ensured of a warm welcome and enjoyable evening at the best folk dance club in East Devon!
